Summer Baseball Academy

The Newtown Parks and Recreation Summer Baseball Academy, directed by Newtown High School baseball Coach Matt Memoli, will be held at the NHS baseball field June 27 through July 1 from 9 am to noon. The program is for boys and girls ages 8-13 and the cost is $200.

Players will receive an intense workout and will learn the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running. Players will also take part in instructional and live games each day. The program is designed to develop a positive mental attitude, learning self confidence, work ethic, and discipline. Visit Newtown-CT.gov for more information or to register.
