Authentically Japanese

To the Editor:

On Thursday, May 29, the fourth grade at Middle Gate Elementary School celebrated Japan Day. This was an all-day event marking the completion of their studies of the Japanese culture. The day was filled with a variety of art activities and demonstrations.

Mrs Pizzi’s fourth grade class would like to extend a special thank you to Toro! Their generous food donation enabled our class to share a delicious lunch of authentic Japanese cuisine. The children were delighted! It was a wonderful compliment to our celebration!

Thanks for helping to make our Japan Day celebration a huge success!
