PORTLAND MUSEUM LECTURE SEPT. 30

PORTLAND, MAINE — The Portland Museum of Art will present a lecture, “Three American Architects: Richardson, Sullivan, and Wright,” Sunday, September 30, from 2 to 3 pm, in the auditorium, free with museum admission.

James F. O’Gorman, author, lecturer, historian and professor emeritus at Wellesley College, will discuss the individual and collective achievements of the recognized trinity of American architecture: Henry Hobson Richardson (1838–86), Louis Sullivan (1856–1924), and Frank Lloyd Wright (1867–1959). Copies of O’Gorman’s book about these architects will be available on the day of the lecture.
