50th Pumpkin & Holly Fair This Weekend

SHELTON — Over fifty years of offering the finest in home crafted gifts and foods, specializing in Victorian and traditional Christmas decorations, jams and jellies made from locally grown fruit, and gourmet food baskets will continue Saturday, November 17, with the presentation of the 50th Annual Pumpkin & Holly Fair. The event will be at Huntington Congregational Church, facing the green on Route 108, from 9 am to 3 pm

Featured this year are old-fashioned gingerbread houses. A hand made sampler quilt and an acrylic landscape painting by the local artist Bob Boroski will be raffled.

For kids there is the fun of the children’s fair and pictures with Santa. Lunch will be available, as will fresh doughnuts made by the men of the church.
