Success At The Nationals

Abigail Lee, 11, of Newtown, helped lead the Lonetown Pony Club of Redding to a seventh-place finish in the Quiz competition at the United States Pony Clubs, Inc. 2004 National Championships in Lexington, Kentucky. Lee, the daughter of Jeff and Grace Lee, helped lead Lonetown to a first-place finish at the qualifying Regional rally in March. The Nationals featured teams from all across the country, including Alaska, California and Hawaii. On a related note, Abigail has also qualified to compete with her pony, Annie, at the United States Dressage Federation Region 8 Championship next month in Halifax, Massachusetts.
