New Teachers Recognized At NCC

Twenty-one members of the teaching staff of the Newtown Congregational Church School were recognized last Sunday morning along with three superintendents, two Christian education directors, and nineteen teachers.

Rich and Cherie Collins and Ester Nichols are superintendents and Sheila Cole and Laurie Badick are CE Directors. Teachers, who are called “Faith Nurturers,” are Judy DeWolfe, Brigette Sorensen, and Dawn Escoda for the Pre-School; Susan Gibbs, Ms Collins, and Jennifer Ceccarelli, kindergarten; Darlene Spencer and Linda Uhde, first grade; Diana Allwein and Kathy Tramontozzi, second grade; Sue Body, Ms Cole, and Christine Hadgraft, third grade; Anna and Jim Wiggers, fourth grade; Lois Barber and Barbara Blanc, fifth grade; and Chuck Leety, Bob Stowell, Ellen Kunst, and Charlie Foss, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.

Teen Faith Nurturers are Tim Gordon, Stacey Gordon, Katie Clyne, Chris Body, Amanda Hadgraft, Luke Barber, Kara Kunst, Casey Palmer, and Vickie Cardoso.
