Is Yours An Art-Sensitive Company?

DANBURY — The Housatonic Valley Cultural Alliance (HVCA) is planning to honor a business for the 2008 Business Supports the Arts Awards this fall.

The award is open to all businesses that have made significant contributions to support art, history and culture within the towns of Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Ridgefield, Redding and Sherman.

Nominees must be able to demonstrate their support provided direct benefit to art, history, and/or cultural organizations.  A complete list of criteria, how to nominate, and a nomination form is available at HVCulturalArts.org. The deadline for nominations is June 30.

Thanks to the efforts of a great many individuals, organizations, and businesses the ten communities supported by HVAC offer a wealth of cultural and artistic activities and resources that enrich lives and make the Housatonic Valley region a lively, thriving, and culturally rewarding place to work, live and raise families.
