Family Nature Walk
Family Nature Walk
WESTON â The entire family has an opportunity to take a guided nature walk to find out a little more about how plant and animal life is surviving summer at The Nature Conservancyâs 1,756-acre Devilâs Den Preserve.
The preserveâs woodlands and wetlands provide habitat for many migratory songbirds, dragonflies, mammals, and, of course, trees â varied, large deciduous trees that make the forest cool during the summertime.
The walk will take place on Saturday, August 18, from 9:30 to 11:30 am, and will be led by trained natural history guides Jackie and Dick Troxell.
There is no charge for this program, but reservations are required. Participants should call the Devilâs Den office at 203-226-4991 weekdays between 9 am and 5 pm for further information, reservations, or directions to the preserve.
