Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard Holds Blood Drive

The Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard (2GHG) will sponsor a Blood Drive at Trinity Church, 36 Main Street, Undercroft Hall, on Tuesday December 29 from 1-6:15 pm. For Donor appointments, please call 1-800-Give-Life (1-800-448-3543).

2GHG is an all-volunteer state militia unit, serving the Governor and the State of Connecticut under the direction of the Connecticut National Guard. 2GHG is one of the oldest cavalry units in continuous service in the United States — now in its 201st  year — and members are dedicated to preserving Cavalry traditions. The Troopers and mounts of the 2GHG remain, as always, “Ready to Serve.”
