Meserve Fund Plans Grants

WILTON — The Distribution Committee of the Albert W. and Helen C. Meserve Memorial Fund is currently accepting applications from local nonprofit organizations for the second round of grant awards during 2003. The deadline for proposals is Wednesday, October 1.

The Meserve Memorial Fund was established in 1983, a legacy of the late Mr and Mrs Albert W. Meserve, to support a wide range of public, charitable, and educational projects and organizations that have an impact on the greater Danbury area. The region served by the Meserve Memorial Fund encompasses Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield, and Sherman. Grants are made only to 501(c)3 tax-exempt organizations.
