Registrars Plan Special Hours

The Newtown Registrar of Voters office will be open on October 10 through 12, from 9 am to 1 pm, to revise and correct the preliminary list of voters in preparation for the upcoming presidential election.

Anyone who needs to contact the registrars about their voting status should call the office at 270-4250.

Anyone who wishes to register as a voter may do so during this time or at the registrars’ office during normal office hours, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 9 am to 2 pm. Persons also may register to vote at the town clerk’s office from 8 am to 4:30 pm any weekday. Mail-in voter registration forms may be requested by calling the registrars’ office or the town clerk’s office.
