Dante John Patti

Dante John Patti, 90, died peacefully on September 1, at his home in Bethel, surrounded by his family.

Dante was born in Lawrence, Mass., on June 22, 1914, the son of the late Ambrogio Patti and Antonetta (Leonardi) Patti.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth (Carrier) Patti and his children, Leonard of Newtown, Gregory and his wife Joyce of Fairfax, Va., Annette of Woburn, Mass., and Lorraine (Patti) Bailey and her husband Michael of Clarendon, Vt.; four grandchildren, Jessica, Brian, Kristen, and Sean; and several nieces and nephews. Mr Patti was predeceased by three sisters, Yolanda, Mary, and Beatrice, and by his brother John.

He graduated from Northeastern University in 1953 with a bachelor’s of science in mechanical engineering and advanced certification in business management. A resident of Bethel since 1965, he was the manager of engineering at Hubbell Plastics in Newtown, until his retirement in 1981.

He was a loving husband and father whose family came first in his life. He was passionate about gardening, opera, and travel, and will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

Memorial Services were private.

The Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel, was in charge of arrangements.
