Piano Recital

With Joseph Jacovino

The Music Ministry of St Rose of Lima Church will present “The Romantic Piano,” a recital with Joseph J. Jacovino, Jr, on the church’s Yamaha Disklavier grand piano at 3 pm on Sunday, June 12, at the church.

The public is invited to attend. There will be a free-will offering to benefit the church choir’s musical pilgrimage to Italy this summer.

The event also will include the dedication and blessing of the donor memorial plaque for the piano.

The program will include Italian Concerto, Bach; Rhapsody in G Minor, Opus 79 No. 2, Brahms; Ecossaises, von Beethoven-Busoni; Fantasy in F Minor, Opus 49, Chopin; Allegro Appassionata, Opus 70, Saint-Saens.

Also, Three Preludes, Gershwin; Prelude in C# Minor, Opus 3 No. 2, Rachmaninoff; La Plus Que Lente (Waltz for Piano), Debussy; and Carnival Jest from Vienna, Opus 26, Schumann.
