AARP To Meet

BETHEL — The monthly meeting of Area Chapter 2449, American Association of Retired Persons, will meet at 1 pm, April 24, in the Bethel Municipal Building, 1 School Street.

At the meeting, the group’s nominating committee will present its slate of officers for the meeting year 2001-2002. Further nominations will be accepted from the floor. Elections will be in May. After the business meeting, there will be entertainment by a young group of singers from the Grassy Plain Children Center.

Refreshments will be served. New members and guests are always welcome. Members are reminded to bring non-perishable food items for Bethel Municipal Agent Food Pantry.
