A new website,  has been launched to provide the public with updates on building the new Sandy Hook School, according to a brief release from First Selectman Pat Llodra.SandyHook2016.com,

The website will provide project updates, a look into the design process, and a photo feed of the project under construction. The Svigals +Partners design and construction team will be making periodic presentations to the Board of Education and the Public Building & Site Commission, and those dates will be posted online as well. Meeting minutes and presentation materials will also be posted as they become available.

The website also offers:

*updates on design and construction progress;

*latest news;

*opportunities for community involvement;

*themes explored between the architecture of the new school and nature;

*photos and drawings;

*details on the design and construction teams;

*information on Kids Build!, an educational program developed by Svigals + Partners originally in conjunction with the New Haven School Construction Program, which is intended to educate school children about the design, construction, and maintenance of their new school; and 

*FAQs and submission of feedback/comments to the design and construction teams.
