CAMPUS NOTES

Emily Warner received Dean’s List honors for the spring 2003 semester from Saint Joseph College in West Hartford.

Morgan Eve Swain, daughter of Kenneth and Colleen Swain, and Lucia Haladjian, daughter of Krikor and Silke Haladjian, both of Sandy Hook, will be attending Hampshire College in Amherst, Mass., this fall.

Matthew Saunders, of Sandy Hook, and Larissa Zaleta received Dean’s List honors for the spring 2003 semester at Providence College, Providence R.I.

Patrick DeNicola, son of Vincent and Julie DeNicola, earned an honorable mention placement on the spring 2003 Dean’s List at Lynchburg College, located in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Beatrice Berg will be attending American University in Washington, D.C., this fall.

Jason Calandruccio, son of Dominic and Louise Calandruccio, graduated from Southern Polytech State University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a degree in computer science.

Upon his graduation from Newtown High School, Jason served in the United States  Navy for five years while attending college classes at night. He will begin training at the Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida, September 23.

Thomas Willard Ermini, son of Thomas R Ermini of Milford and Janet Shier, received Dean’s List honors at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven for the 2003 spring semester. He just completed his freshman year as a physical education major.
