Women’s Center Walk Slated

DANBURY — Registration for the Women’s Center Annual 4k Walk will be held at the women’s center office, 2 West Street, on Wednesday, August 15.

From 6 to 8 pm, individuals, teams and corporations can register for the event, order T-shirts, and learn more about participation in this important Community United AGAINST Domestic Violence event, which will take place this year on October 7. Registration is $25 per individual or team.

The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury has been providing free and confidential services through their domestic violence, sexual assault and resource services programs to adults and children in the greater Danbury and New Milford communities for the past 32 years. Programs are supported by state and local government, area United Way agencies and the people and businesses in the communities it serves.
