Youth Programs

Children of Divorce — Will meet twice a month on Monday evenings from 6 to 7 pm at Newtown Youth Services. Next date is November 20. This group is open to students in grades one through six.

HSYAB will have their next meeting on Monday, November 20, at 2 pm in the high school cafeteria.

Sibshops — This group is for children in grades one through six who have a brother or sister with special needs. The group will next meet November 27, from 5 to 7 pm. There is no fee for either of the above groups.

Support Groups

Hope and Support meets on Mondays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Parents or guardians with questions or concerns about a child’s possible or confirmed involvement with substances are welcome to attend this group. The Hope Group will not meet on school holidays, during school breaks or on snow days.

Grandparents’ Group — The Second Time Around: Raising Your Children’s Children is an ongoing support program that meets Wednesdays, noon to 1:30 pm. There is no fee.
