NORWALK — The Norwalk River Watershed Association and the National Park Service at Weir Farm are offering a very special walk featuring the fives senses and geared to elementary-school-aged children and their parents. The program will be led by Charity Buxton, student conservation association intern for the Weir Farm National Historic Site, Weir Preserve, and the Norwalk River Watershed Association.

This free program is scheduled for Sunday, September 16, from 1 to 3 pm. Participants should wear clothing and footwear appropriate for walking in the woods and meet at the Weir Farm parking lot opposite Burlington House Visitor’s Center at 735 Nod Hill Road, just south of Pelham Lane in Wilton.

Spaces are limited, so those interested in attending should call Weir Farm at 203-834-1896 for reservations or directions. For more information about the Norwalk River Watershed programs call 203-846-8210.
