Newtown residents Larry and Lynn Williams are joining with family and friends to celebrate the holiday season with a gift of music.

The couple will be joined by up to seven singers, a violinist, a guitarist, a bongo player, and a concert pianist, Mrs Williams said.

"We will be doing a little bit of everything, from 'O Holy Night' to 'Santa Baby,'" she said December 5. "We have old and young performers ... current graduate-level singers, retired opera singers, and even a retired rabbi."

The Williamses have wanted to have their daughters join them for a holiday concert "for many years now," she said. Once the daughters agreed to make their parents' wish come true, everything else fell into place.

The free performance will be Saturday, December 17, at 3 pm, at Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street.
