Police Use Dog To Track Man Near Little Brook Lane
While on patrol about 4:45 pm February 24, police said they came across an unoccupied, suspicious vehicle parked on Little Brook Lane, near a wooded area and some railroad tracks, so they stopped to investigate and then called in their police dog for a search of the area.
Police said that in talking to people living in the area, they learned that a man who had left the parked vehicle apparently was attempting to elude police.
Police said they used the police dog for about an hour in searching for the man and eventually found David Kaza, 24, of 4 Clearview Drive.
Police said they charged Kaza with interfering with police and with possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they released Kaza on a written promise to appear in court on March 10.
Police said they then turned over Kaza to Monroe police, who held an arrest warrant on him listing charges of second degree failure to appear in court and driving while under suspension.
