Workshop On “Holiday Blues”

“Holiday Blues” will be discussed on Wednesday, December 13, at a workshop sponsored by the Family Counseling Center at the Cyrenius H. Booth Library’s community room  from 7 to 8 pm.

The holidays are supposed to be a time of warmth, happiness, and excitement. For many people, they are. But for some, the season can be a paradox. Joyous feelings, and family and religious traditions can be overshadowed by stress, fatigue, and gloom. The key is to know how to respond to your feelings and have realistic expectations.

The Family Counseling Center is a licensed, accredited non-profit mental health agency located on Mt Pleasant Road in Newtown. There is no charge for the program at the library. For more information, call the FCC at 426-8103.
