Yacko to the rescue…

Our family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to members of the Yacko & Sons Tree Service Company. On Friday October 30th we realized our cat was missing. The search was on for our cat, a Siamese named Poppy.  After calling him for a while we heard a meow and finally realized it was coming from above about 60 feet up in the tree. With no low branches.  We were perplexed and worried.  Many people said he will come down on his own but he didn’t. We tried all options with ladders etc but the cat was not having any of it and was scared. After contacting several other companies that weren’t able to help, we contacted Yacko and Sons from Newtown, who came to the rescue on short notice.

Jeff Cowden (aka Mr Forester) responded quickly as Ryan Cunningham climbed the tree using ropes, harnesses and special climbing equipment. Dylan Fluman and Loretta also assisted in the operation. Ryan was able to climb higher than the cat and was able to grab him and calm him at the same time.  Repelling down with “Poppy” the whole family was relieved and happy.  Thank you so much.  We will recommend that anyone with the need for tree service to use Yacko and Sons as they were friendly, knowledgeable and professional.  Great job everyone, we are grateful you came to the rescue.
