A Wholehearted Effort

To the Editor:

I would like to thank all the wonderful people who took the time to make or donate valentines for our veterans. Over 750 valentines were collected. The valentines were sent to Rocky Hill Veterans Home, West Haven Veterans Hospital, and Holiday Mail for Heroes.

Cards were donated by Girl Scout Troop 5081, The Happy Crafters at Nunnawauk Meadows, sixth graders from local schools, members and staff of Project Choice, Newtown Woman’s Club, GFWC/CT members, and many anonymous donors.
