Pressure Tests

The Ashlar of Newtown Nursing Department will sponsor a free blood pressure screening on Wednesday, October 27, from 10 am to noon at the Cyrenius H. Booth Library on Main Street.

The screening will be conducted by a licensed nurse who also will have free information about high blood pressure.

Angela DiLillo, RN, director of nursing services at Ashlar, said that persons can have high blood pressure and still feel fine. It  is important to have blood pressure checked regularly, she said.
