Real Estate Relicensing Course

Real estate brokers and sales agents can fulfill their relicensing requirements by taking advantage of a series of classes being offered this semester at Naugatuck Valley Community College.

Participants can earn 12 continuing education credits in one day, or attend morning and evening classes on Saturdays in October and December to fulfill the mandatory state requirements.

The following classes are being offered on October 6: Mandatory Real Estate and Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant Relationships, House Talk to Home Inspectors, and Current Real Estate Financing.

The series continues on October 27 with New Construction, Mandatory Real Estate and Fair Housing, Deceased Ownership, and First Time Home Buyers.

On December 1, the schedule includes Houses Talk to Home Inspectors, Landlord Tenant Relationships, Mandatory Real Estate and Fair Housing, and HUD Housing Inspection and Appraisal.

The cost of each class is $35. Those who take four classes in one day will receive a $40 rebate check. The deadline to register is the Friday before each series of courses. Coffee and refreshments will be available at the morning classes, and a one-hour lunch break will take place in the afternoon.
