The Newtown Bee will host a forum on Tuesday, October 23, in the auditorium of Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street, featuring 106th District State Representative Mitch Bolinsky and challenger Rebekah Harriman-Stites and 2nd District State Representative Will Duff and challenger Raghib Allie-Brennan.

Senator Tony Hwang and challenger Dr Michelle Lapine McCabe have been invited to take part, as has 112th District State Representative J.P. Sredzinski, who is unchallenged in this election. These candidates will be granted time to briefly introduce themselves and their platforms.

A meet and greet of candidates, with refreshments, will take place at 6:30 pm, followed by the forum from 7 to 8:30 pm.

Candidates will respond to questions solicited from the public and vetted by The Newtown Bee prior to the forum. Candidates will not have seen the questions beforehand.

Newtown residents are asked to submit questions for the state representative candidates to [naviga:u]editor@thebee.com[/naviga:u], subject line “Bee Forum Question,” no later than Tuesday, October 16, at noon. Questions should address town/state issues that are relevant to the office of the state representatives.
