CROMWELL — Tim Stubbs, owner of the Newtown branch of The Entrepreneur’s Source, will host the Connecticut Franchise Showcase on Thursday, April 15, from 10 am to 2 pm and 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Radisson in Cromwell, ten minutes south of Hartford.

 The Connecticut Franchise Showcase will feature representatives from several of the nation’s most successful franchise companies to describe their opportunities and answer questions. The participating franchises come from varied industries, including automotive repair, healthy quick-serve food, residential cleaning, personnel/staffing, dry cleaning, interior design, financial services, general retail, and others.

 In addition, those who attend can speak with small business experts, including a small business/franchise attorney; an SBA loan officer; and SBA lender bank representative; and a representative from SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small Business. Admission for the event is free.

 This event is targeted toward people who have an interest in exploring business ownership and want more information and guidance. The Entrepreneur’s Source consultants will discuss the benefits of franchises and a recommended approach to exploring new career directions. The franchise representatives will present information about their opportunities and answer individual questions before and after the presentations.
