Leslie Harris, 84, of 58 Wheeler Street, Shelton, devoted husband of Annice (McConney) Harris, died November 9 at Connecticut Hospice after a brief illness.
He is survived by a son, Richard Harris and his wife Patricia of Newtown.
He was born in Shelton, May 31, 1917, son of the late Harold and Emma (Marshall) Harris and was a lifelong resident of Shelton. He was a retired machinist and was employed for many years at the former Shelton Tack Company. He was also employed at the Auto-Swage Products, Inc, in Shelton. Mr Harris was a member of the Far Mill Grange and a longtime communicant of the Huntington Congregational Church.
He was also the beloved father of Ronald Harris and his wife Kathy of Naugatuck, and a daughter-in-law, Mary Harris of Orange. He is also survived by four loving grandchildren: RJ, Timothy, Alyson and Brendon Harris; and one great-granddaughter, Chelsea Harris.
His funeral was held on November 12 at the Huntington Congregational Church, 19 Church Street, Shelton. Burial was in Lawn Cemetery.

The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton was in charge of arrangements.
