Mr and Mrs Christopher Mark Nichols

Pamela Ann Ruggio of Stratford and Christopher Mark Nichols of Farmington were married May 23 at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church in Stratford, with the Reverend Monsignor William F. Schultz officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs John S. Ruggio of Stratford, and the groom is the son of Mrs Lucille A. Nichols and the late Roy E. Nichols of Southbury.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory dress and carried a bouquet of liscanthus flowers.

Maid of honor was Karen Grosso of Newtown, and matron of honor was Thesesa Bockiard of Trumbull. They wore lilac dresses and carried liscanthus flowers.

Bridesmaids were Diane Brown of Naugatuck, and Coreen Pace of Norwalk. They also wore lilac dresses and carried bouquets of liscanthus flowers.

Best men were David Zimmer of Groton, Mass., and James Thomson, of Kokomo, Ind.

Ushers were Thomas Ercoll of Middlebury, and Mark Fitzsimmons of West Hartford.

The bride attended Bunnell High School and Sacred Heart University. She is employed by General Electric in Fairfield.

The groom attended Pomperaug High School and Central Connecticut State University.

He is employed by UnitedHealth Care in Hartford.

After a wedding trip to St Thomas, US Virgin Islands, the couple resides in Stratford.
