Because of incorrect information provided by the Independent Party of Newtown (IPN) and passed along to The Newtown Bee by the town clerk’s office, a story August 10 incorrectly identified former Newtown Republican Town Committee chair Charles Stofko as affiliating with IPN. Mr Stofko remains active with the local GOP and the Republican Town Committee. He is not currently affiliated with the Independent Party of Newtown.

The Sandy Hook Village Farmers’ Market season runs until Sunday, October 28. A story in last week’s Bee incorrectly stated the season would be ending later this month.
