Teachers Honored At NCC

Sunday School teachers and coordinators were honored Sunday, June 6, during the 10 am worship service at Newtown Congregational Church.

Chairperson Sheila Cole announced the names of the volunteers who make the Sunday School operate. Each, including Sheila Cole, were given gifts of appreciation.

Named were Carl Lindquist, chapel coordinator; and Sheila Krasnickas, nursery coordinator. Teachers are Anne and Todd Martin, and Maria Barresi, pre-K; Sandy Petersen and Carolyn Joseph, first grade; Cheri and Rich Collins, second grade; Christine Hadgraft and Carol Anderson, third grade; Kristen Werden, fourth grade; Sue Body and Sheila Cole, fifth grade; Jean Walter, Dawn Escoda, and Candice Davies, sixth grade; Carol Smiley, Jerry Cole, and Bob Stowell, seventh/eighth grade.

Youth helpers are Vicky Cardoso, Matt Cole, Robin Collins, Ryan Davies, Kevin Donahue, Amanda Hadgraft, Julia Lysaght, Caitlin Norcross, Tara Ryan, Karla Spencer, and Karen Whippie.

Junior Pilgrim Fellowship advisors are Carol Smiley and Vicky Truitt. Senior Pilgrim Fellowship advisors are Cathy Robinson and Rich Collins.
