Preview Of Holiday Festival

The 1999 Newtown Holiday Festival is the topic of a two-part series on the cable television show Dateline Newtown. The current show features _Kim Connolly and Mary Tomasiewicz, the co-chairmen of the 1999 Holiday Festival, and Leslie Trudell and Jonna Waicberg, the co-chairmen of the family workshop.

Hosted by Gary Fetzer and directed by Dan Henry, Dateline Newtown is a local access cable television program that airs every Monday evening at 8 pm on Charter Cable Channel 21. Part two will air on November 15th and 29th.

The 1999 Holiday Festival will be held on Sunday, December 5, from 11 am to 5 pm.

In Part II of Dateline Newtown Mrs Connolly and Mrs Tomasiewicz talk about the various events that are being featured at this year’s festival. They discuss the musical groups, the antiques show, the crafts fair, the Victorian tea room, and New England Café.

Mrs Trudell and Mrs Waicberg provide details about the family workshop. This year’s workshop has a family oriented theme, with parents and children working on crafts, and visiting with Santa.
