Warrant

After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Bryan A. Novella, 23, of 59 Bear Hills Road went to the police station on the afternoon of March 19, and was charged with failure to maintain automotive insurance, police said.

Police said the charge stems from a February motor vehicle accident that occurred on Route 25. Police released Novella on a written promise to appear April 3 in Danbury Superior Court.

Damaged Mercedes

Police report that the driver of a 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class station wagon, which was parked unoccupied in the lot at Sand Hill Plaza at 228 South Main Street, returned to the vehicle about 10:40 am March 16 and found that another vehicle had damaged the auto, hitting a fender and a bumper.

Police are investigating and ask anyone with information on the identity of the offending driver to contact Officer Todd Dingee at 426-5841.
