Newtown High School's golf teams earned wins this past week.

The NHS girls defeated Weston at Newtown Country Club on April 10. NHS shot a 251 and Weston had a 254. Gigi Marino shot a 52, Cailin Wilson 60, Norah Kolb 67, and Bradyn Smith 72.

The boys went to Redding Country Club and defeated Bethel, shooting a 197 to Bethel's 211, on April 11. David Brestovansky led the way with a 40, Trevor Hislop had a 48, Tim Davis 51, Jimmy Davies 58, Jake Mailloux 58, and Dylan Munro 52.
