7–10 pm, free refreshments in the “Tavern.”

7:15–9:15 pm, music and dancing of the 18th Century on the second floor, The Reel Thing with dance caller Fran Hendrickson.

7:15–9:30 pm, games and puzzles for children in the Children’s Department.

7:15–9:30 pm, gaming for adults throughout the library.

7:15–7:45 pm, lecture and demonstration in the Genealogy Room, “Revolutionary War Medicine and Surgery” with Dr Timothy Hosmer, Regimental Surgeon, 6th Connecticut Regiment.

7:50–8:20 pm, lecture/quiet study, “The Dragoons That Stayed in Newtown,” Captain Salvatore Tarantino, 2nd Continental Light Dragoons.

8:25–8:55 pm, lecture in the Periodicals Room, “18th Century Cooking –– Open Hearth and Campfire,” Cheryll Compton, camp follower, DeLancey’s Brigade 1st Battalion.

9–9:30 pm, debate in the Genealogy Room, Patriot Captain Richard Swartwout vs Loyalist Major Michael Cock, 6th Connecticut Regiment, L.I. DeLancey’s Brigade, 1st Battalion.

9:35–10:05 pm, exhibit and lecture in the Art Room, “18th Century Clothing,” Diane Stevens, camp follower, King’s Rangers.

Various times, lectures in various locations, “Who We Are, Regimental Histories and Descriptions,” representatives of regiments in attendance.

Saturday, April 26            (At Fairfield Hills)

9 am, camp opens.

Morning: camp life, drill, demonstrations, presentations, crafts, cooking, toys etc.

Noon: lunch (on your own).

Early Afternoon: same as morning schedule.

2–3 pm, battle.

4:30 pm, camp closes.

There are no activities scheduled for Sunday, but reenactors will stay overnight from Saturday.
