Generous Gifts

(The Bee has received for publication the following open letter to Lynn and Ron Buttner)

Dear Ron and Lynn:

Newtown Youth Services (NYS) has been serving the community for the past 20 plus years. In all this time we have never received such a unique donation.

When Lynn approached us with the idea of setting up contributions to our non-profit organization in place of birthday gifts for Ron’s surprise party, it sounded truly different. The special gift on Ron’s behalf turned out to be a wonderful surprise for NYS as well.

We at NYS thank you and Ron’s family and friends for these generous gifts and we hope your generosity will someday be rewarded.
