Mission Sunday, January 23, will be celebrated at the 10:30 am service. The guest preacher will be the Rev Frederick Schielke, mission executive of the Lutheran Church Center in St Louis. A coffee hour will follow the service. The week of prayer for Christian unity also will be observed. Included on the calendar for the week is a meeting of the Evening Bible Class on Monday at 8 pm. On Tuesday the Missions and Evangelism Committee meets at 8 pm. The Kings Ringers meet on Wednesday at 7:15 pm, followed by senior choir at 8 pm. On Thursday the confirmation class meets at 7 pm.
