Newtown Girls’ Cross Country Team Unbeaten

The Newtown High School girls’ cross country team defeated New Milford 28-29, Bethel 21-44 and Bunnell 21-40 at Bethel High on October 13 to complete the regular season unbeaten at 14-0.

 The course record was broken by Lauren Sara from Bunnell with a time of 18:52. Newtown’s top finishers are as follows:
