Breast Cancer Walk Kick-Off

Pat Hough of Newtown, manager of Danbury Hospital’s Praxair Cancer Center, recently attended the corporate kick-off breakfast for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at the Danbury Fair Mall.

Ms Hough will participate in the walk on Sunday, October 14, along with associates from the Praxair Cancer Center and Praxair, a flagship sponsor of the event. Proceeds from the five-mile walk at Sherwood Island State Park, overlooking Long Island Sound in Westport, will support the American Cancer Society’s programs of breast cancer research, education, and patient services throughout Southwestern Connecticut.
