Lisa A. Kellogg

Lisa Anne Kellogg, 45, formerly of Newtown, died on September 1, in a tragic automobile accident in Rangley, Colo., while traveling to Crested Butte, Colo.

Lisa was born at the Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, N.Y. on October 8, 1958. She is the daughter of Douglas and Joan Hill Kellogg of Hanover, N.H. She graduated from elementary school in Newtown, and Saint Margaret’s-McTernan in Waterbury, and received an associate in childhood development from LaSalle Junior College in Newton, Mass. Her fondness for children led her to establish a daycare center in Basalt and Crested Butte, Colo., and a child care service in Jackson Hole, Wyo. Lisa was also a “nanny” for several families on the east and west coasts.

She was an amateur photographer and loved to travel, living two years in Hawaii, and enjoyed extended visits to New Zealand and Chile.

She is survived by her parents, Joan and Douglas Kellogg of Hanover, N.H.; two sisters, Dianne K. Forester of Jamaica, Vt., and Linda K. Glover of Morgan Hill, Calif.; a brother, Randolph W. Kellogg of Washington, N.H.; and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service was held on September 8 at the Rand-Wilson Funeral Home in Hanover, N.H. with Father John Mullen officiating.
