Harris B.     Towne, Sr

Harris Baker Towne, Sr, 91, husband of the late Maylaw (Albertson) Towne, of 313 Washington Avenue in West Haven, died on October 13 in New Haven.

Mr Towne was the father of Harris B. Towne, Jr, of Sandy Hook.

Mr Towne was a retired mechanic for International Harvester and a retired toll collector for the State of Connecticut.

In addition to his son, Mr Towne is survived by a daughter, Carol (Towne) Fullerton of West Haven; grandchildren, Denise Gabanelli, Carol Pellico, Charles Fullerton, III, Cristen Fullerton, Tiffany Beach, Harris B. Towne, III, and Christopher Towne; and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends may call on Friday, October 15, from 4 to 8 pm at the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven.  A  Jehovah’s Witnesses service will take place at 7:30 pm.
