A special Eucharistic Celebration and Healing Service with Father Fernando Suarez will take place Sunday evening, August 25, at 6:30, at St Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road.

Father Suarez was ordained to the priesthood in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, in 2002, and is a priest of the Missionaries of Mary Mother of the Poor in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines.

At the age of 16, he discovered God had given him a gift of healing people. The sick and troubled were able to find the healing touch of Jesus through his hands.

Since 2003, Fr Suarez has regularly conducted Healing Masses, retreats, and mission.

Organizer Maureen Reidy notes that the Eucharistic Celebration and Healing Service is intended for all of those in need of healing, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual.
