The registration deadline for the 25th Annual ShopRite Nutmeg State Games is Monday, June 24. Registration information for all sports may be found at www.nutmegstategames.org.

More than 6,500 athletes, 1,500 volunteers, and 15,000 spectators will convene in New Britain and throughout the Hartford County area July 13 through July 28 for Connecticut’s only Olympic-style sport competition. The Games consist of 22 sporting events, which include team and individual competitions.

Team sports offered include baseball, basketball, fast-pitch softball, 7 vs 7 field hockey, ice hockey, boys’ and girls’ lacrosse, 7 vs 7 girls’ lacrosse, roller hockey, rugby 7s, and soccer. All team sport tournaments will be a round robin/ pool play format.

The 2013 individual sport offerings are archery, fencing, figure skating, golf, gymnastics, judo, swimming, track & field, and wrestling.

The ShopRite Nutmeg State Games is an open to all Connecticut residents.
