Ingeborg M. Klein

Beloved Mother

And Grandmother

Ingeborg M. Klein, 83, of Southbury died January 22 at the Watermark at East Hill Woods. Born October 27, 1925, in Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of Alfred and Rosa Ksinski.

Survivors include a son, Al Klein, and his wife, Karen; and grandchildren, all of Newtown.

She worked for the New York City Board of Education, was active in the local Brandeis chapter, and was a member of the Conservative Synagogue of Jamaica, and later a member of B’Nai Israel of Southbury .

She participated in the Writer’s Club at East Hill Woods. In addition to having a “green thumb,” she enjoyed quilting, listening to opera, reading The New York Times, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services took place January 25.
