Rosalina C. Palmieri

Rosalina (Cavaliere) Palmieri, 81, of Stratford, died April 13 at Bridgeport Hospital.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, RoseAnn and Frank Mason of Newtown.

Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Matilda (Minutola) Cavaliere, and was the widow of Tom (Romolo) Palmieri. Mrs Palmieri was a member of the Germania Schwaben Hall.

Survivors include two sons, Enrico Palmieri of Enfield and Thomas Palmieri of Seymour;  another daughter, Carol Mammone of Bridgeport; a sister, Rafaella Corrado of Maryland; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a devoted niece, Elizabeth Kassery; and several additional nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Richard Palmieri; two brothers, Peter and Alexander Cavaliere; and two sisters, Anna Gubicza and Yolanda DePiano.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St James Church, 2110 Main Street, Stratford, on April 17. Entombment followed in St Michael’s Garden Mausoleum, Stratford.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
