Randal “Randy” Miller, 57, of Scottsdale, Ariz., died unexpectedly April 7. He was born July 14, 1955, in Danbury Hospital, and graduated from Newtown High School in 1973.

Mr Miller was commissioner of softball at the Fullerton Athletic Association in Whitehall, Penn., and on the Board of Scottsdale Miss Softball in Scottsdale. 

He leaves behind his wife Marianne; daughter Megan; mother- and father-in-law Myrt and T.J., all from Scottsdale; his brother Jeff of Texas; sisters Margie of South Carolina and Nancy of Georgia; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; many dear friends in Allentown and Whitehall, Penn., Scottsdale, and recently reconnected relatives and friends from his beloved hometown of Newtown. His parents Loretta and Ralph; brother Ralph, Jr; and sisters Cathleen and Betty predeceased Mr Miller. An avid Yankees fan all his life, he also leaves his beloved dog, Jeter. He will be missed by those who knew him.

Services in Arizona were private.
