Creative Art Class At Library May 2
To the community members and families of Newtown, artists of all ages and abilities, Regina’s Art Center will continue instructional and creative art classes at Cyrenius H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street, on Thursday, May 2, from 4 to 6 pm. Everyone is welcome to join art center founder Regina Rayzvikh for an innovative and unique two-hour session in the library’s Story Time Room.
From New York City to Greenwich, and now to Newtown, Ms Rayzvikh brings her comprehensive art classes to children and their families with the belief that the expressions of art “include reconciliation of emotional conflicts, self-awareness, as well as personal growth.”
The instruction provided by Ms Rayzvikh is her donation of time and talent to the children and their parents as an expression of support and assistance to the families of Newtown who have suffered loss, trauma and devastation, and who find self-expression through art to be a comfort and an enjoyable experience to be shared by everyone who attends.
Regina’s Art Center, based in Brooklyn, N.Y., provides family-oriented and shared art workshops and classes designed to recognize and capture the unique talent of each child and their inner spirit while allowing children to freely create their artwork with dedicated and detailed instruction and care offered by Ms Rayzvikh.
Ms Rayzvikh is planning to continue offering programs in town until May 9. For more information send e-mail to info@reginasartcenter.org or contact Art Center Managing Director Jenny Polozov at 203-428-1603.
