Free Seminar On HR Trends

SHELTON — The free business seminar, “How to Save Your Company Time and Money – Learn About the Latest Human Resource Trends,” will be held on Thursday, October 18, from 9 am to 10:30 am, at the Hilton Garden Inn, 25 Old Stratford Road.

The morning session includes a short speaking program, a variety of information booths, and complimentary continental breakfast. In addition, all seminar attendees will be entered in a special drawing to win a get-away weekend at the Hilton Garden Inn and dinner for two at Il Palio, both in Shelton.

This session is targeted to company presidents, business owners, and human resource/employee benefit managers and administrators. It will focus on how to spend less time on human resource issues, pay lower service fees, find the right outsourcing professionals, and develop a new, customized approach.

Speakers include Frederick W. Serra of Shelton, president of F.W. Serra Insurance in Shelton; Robert Noonan, a Meriden-based lawyer; Marcia B. Proto of Wallingford, a human resource consultant with Possibilities Unlimited Consulting; and Carolyn Singer of Hamden, director of human resource services, F. W. Serra Insurance.
