To the Editor: The Newtown Bee and the League of Senior Voters for providing forums for our community to learn about the candidates and the issues, enabling informed decisions and participation in the process.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Newtown on the Board of Finance. The election has been a great experience for me and my family, and reinforces the strength of our community as we have come together to support our town. I have had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know so many of our fellow residents, and it is clear to me that everyone has a genuine interest in doing what is right, and what is best for our future. I will be dedicated in fulfilling the role and responsibilities, and look forward to hearing from all of my friends and neighbors along the way.
